| Abstract |
| A 43-year-old woman with systemic lupus erythematosus
(SLE) had an episode of mononeuritis multiplex prior to developing
protein-losing gastroenteropathy. Four years later, she had another
episode of mononeuritis multiplex, followed by choroidopathy. These
manifestations are uncommon in SLE, but may be attributed to vasculitis.
The laboratory findings indicated that the elevation of D-dimer and
thrombin?antithrombin complex levels seen in this case might be useful
in evaluating vascular lesions in SLE. |
