11月19日！演題応募の締め切り迫る！　第48回ＪＣＲ総会・学術集会****************************************************************************

岡山市で2004・4・15−4・17に開催される（中）日本リウマチ学会の第48回総会・学術集会（会長：井上一　岡山大学大学院医歯学総合研究科 整形外科学教授、日本リウマチ学会国際委員長）への演題募集がUMINシステム経由によるオンラインで実施中であり、いよいよ11月19日(水)正午で応募が締め切られる。
　セッション一覧や一般公募カテゴリー、およびプログラムなど詳細については、第48回日本リウマチ学会総会・学術集会事務局のホームページを参照されたい。

　今回からは、演題論文のオンライン投稿に加え、初めてオンライン査読とオンライン校正を行う予定で、中間法人化した日本リウマチ学会のＩＴ化を一歩推し進める。

尚、11月7日（金）20:00−22:00に虎ノ門の当学会事務局会議室で岡山大会事務局（第48回日本リウマチ学会総会・学術集会事務局）と学会事務局 （有限責任中間法人日本リウマチ学会事務局）およびコンベンション委託事務局（株式会社コングレ事務局）の合同会議を（デザイナー交え10名出席） 開催し、抄録集やプログラムの編纂に当たって、オンライン投稿、オンライン査読、オンライン校正、ＤＴＰ出版方式で準備を推進することを再確認した。

　法人化後、３回目の理事会開催される（１１月４日）****************************************************************************

有限責任中間法人日本リウマチ学会第3回理事会が2003年11月4日15:00-18:00の間、学会事務局の会議室で開催された。理事・監事17名が出席。越智隆弘理事長が議長となり、規則等の見直し、特例による評議員の選出要領などについて審議され、活発な論議が行われた。
　尚、理事会に先立ち、将来構想委員会（西岡久寿樹委員長）が13:00-15:00の間、開催され、会に付託する主要事項について討議し、理事会に対し意見を述べた。

****************************************************************************　　　　　　　学会ニュースレター創刊準備、着々と！****************************************************************************

法人化に伴い、リウマチ学に関する情報発信基地として会員各位にリアルタイムな情報の提供媒体として構想された3種類のメディア（いわゆる三位一体のホームページ、メルマガ、ニュースレター）の１つ、ニュースレターの発刊が理事会で原則的な了解を得て、いよいよ本格的な発刊準備に入った。情報化委員会（澤井高志委員長）の管轄責任下で刊行予定のニュースレターは、11月20日開催編集委員会（宮坂信之委員長）と情報化委員会の合同会合による最終決定を経て12月中旬を目途に、創刊号を発刊予定。

本年度第４回医学用語委員会開催、改定第3版リウマチ学用語集いよいよ３月刊行へ****************************************************************************

　（中）日本リウマチ学会の医学用語委員会（鳥巣岳彦委員長）が11月4日（火）18:00−21:30に虎ノ門オカモトヤビル10階会議室（学会事務局は9階）で開催され、改定第3版リウマチ学用語集の発刊に向け、委員会として本年度4回目の修正校正作業が行われ、2004年3月に南江堂から出版される運びとなった。
　会員各位には同委員会から改訂予定用語をこのメルマガ媒体を通して4回シリーズで掲載してきたが、今回のメルマガ5号を以って改訂予定用語掲載は最終となる。
