Abstract We describe two cases of Behcet's disease associated with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) with trisomy 8. Both cases developed ulceration in the cecum as a gastrointestinal complication of Behcet's disease, after a diagnosis of MDS. We summarized recent case reports of Behcet's disease associated with myelodysplastic syndrome, and studied the clinical manifestations. Most cases showed trisomy 8 as a chromosomal abnormality. Gastrointestinal involvement without eye lesions seems to be characteristic of Behcet's disease associated with MDS.
