Modern Rheumatology is the official journal of Japan College of Rheumatology, the premier scientific journal for research in the rheumatic diseases.

The journal publishes original papers in English on research pertinent to rheumatology and associated areas such as pathology, physiology, clinical immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, experimental animal models, pharmacology and orthopedic surgery.

The editors aim to encourage the international exchange of results and encourage authors from all countries to submit papers in the following five categories: Original Articles, Case Reports, Review Articles, Rapid Communications and Letters to the Editors.

Modern Rheumatology is published six times per year and delivered to JCR members. Papers may be submitted at any time.
