Presentation Arrangements
  • Oral presentation will be in PowerPoint software only. (No slides, OHP, or videos can be used.)
  • The presentation data should be prepared by Microsoft’s PowerPoint software. Each presenter is asked to bring a media containing the data to the Preview Center no later than 1 hour (30 minutes in case of the early in the morning) before your presentation. Be sure to have a backup of your data.
    * Basically, presenters are not allowed to bring their own personal computer

    Reception time : 21st April (Wed) 15:00-19:00
                           22nd April (Thu)  07:30-17:00
    * Preview Centre can be crowded on 22nd April, especially in the morning. Therefore, we would like to ask you to bring the data on 21st April.

  • When giving the presentation, use the monitor, keyboard and mouse provided at the table.
  • Bring presentation data on a CD-R or USB flash drive. Be sure to have a backup of your data.

  • Application software: Microsoft Windows PowerPoint 2002, 2003, 2007
  • The correspondence OS: Windows (Windows 2000 or later),
                                             Macintosh (MacOS8.6 or later)
  • Font: OS Standard font only
  • Screen resolution: XGA (1024x768)
  • Data file name: Attach the session code, presentation order, and name.
    E.g.1) IWS1-2-XXXX       E.g.2) IWS2-10-XXXX
  • Correction of the data is not allowed at the Preview Center.
  • Save the original data when the other data, such as pictures, movies and graphs, have been linked.
    *Only the movie data which can be played with Windows Media Player is available.
    *Test drive running is recommended in another PC that the data was not created.
  • Refrain from using the Audio data.
  • Slides created using Mac OS should be tested on Windows OS.
    *The data for presentation will be copied in the server, however JCR2010 secretariat responsibly delete it after the presentation.
    *Scan the media through the latest anti-virus software to check the data is virus free.

  • Presenters are not allowed to bring their own personal computer, but Macintosh can be used if presenters request, in this case please bring their own laptop.
  • Be sure the proper output from the laptop to the monitor at the PC center.
  • PC cable connector: D-sub 15pin
  • Bring a backup of your data on a CD-R or USB flash drive.
  • Be sure to bring AC adapter
